The delegation of the International Foundation of Sport, Tourism and Youth met Georgian National Weightlifting team at a training camp in Batumi.

Georgian national weightlifting team has a training camp in Batumi and is preparing for the World Weightlifting Championship, which will be held on December 7-17, 2021 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

President of the International Foundation of Sport, Tourism and Youth Mr. Tariel Khechikashvili, together with the Vice-President Mr. Shalva Gogoladze and other representatives of the Foundation met with the national team in Batumi and expressed their support to the athletes for the upcoming World Weightlifting Championships and future career.

n the framework of the meeting with the athletes the parties announces that the champions of the national team will become ambassadors of the Foundation and also a weightlifting base will be established in 10 regions of Georgia.

Main aim of the Foundation is to support projects and programs in the fields of sport, tourism and youth in Georgia.
