The visits of the representatives of the Foundation to the penitentiary institutions continues.

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the International Foundation of Sport, Tourism and Youth and the Special Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, representatives of the Foundation visited penitentiary facilities and provided juveniles with a table tennis and boxing equipment.

The Special Penitentiary Service constantly takes care of the promotion of a healthy lifestyle in the penitentiary system, the active involvement of prisoners in sports activities and their re-socialization. In this process, the Foundation provides significant support to the Penitentiary Service and supplies institutions with sports equipment, as well as facilitates the participation of defendants / convicts in various tournaments and sports activities.

Within the framework of the re-socialization policy, the famous veteran rugby player Mamuka Gorgodze also visited the juvenile institutions and promised them presents. For the New Year, as promised, all the minors were sent T-shirts of Georgian National Rugby team.

Main aim of the foundation is to support projects and programs in the fields of sport, tourism and youth in Georgia.
